Here's another Tahan training at Lake Gardens. We gathered at 8am, with our rucksacks or bags. Most of us brought at least 6 liters of water to carry up the stairs. Actually you can bring along your dumbbell too. lol. (Chin Gian: Wei, that's my idea!)

So after some warm up exercises, we fired up our engines up the stairs like mad, again! Climbed up and went down. Then climbed up and went down again. We seriously had better performance than roller coaster. Dun play play!

Some of the uncles aunties there were curious why are we so semangat, cant help and asked :

"Training untuk apani? Mau pergi mana?"

"Tahan!" (We replied)

"Oohh.. Tahan.. I dah pergi 10 years ago."

"Wow..@_@" (Pro-nya.. aunty ni..)

After at least 10 rounds we climbed, we rested and discussed some stuff about Tahan. (XT: Who's carrying gas tong, who's bringing pillow, how to build water heater, blar blar blar.....)

We had sponsored Milo and buffet at the Park in conjunction with AmBank Family Day. Wahahah....

i'm Su Lan, i'll be organizing the Gunung Datuk training.
Just to inform that the gunung datuk training on 12nd Jan is cancelled due to the new year party on the same day..
so...we have to change it to another date, whether on 19th or 20th or 26th or 27th of Jan..
OR we can make it on 13rd of Jan----if u all dun mind going training after the new year party..

so please reply my email asap or just call me up or just simply sms me to tell me whether which date is the most convenient date to u so that i can make further arrangement..

Gunung Datuk
Mountain: Gunung Datuk [Bukit Datuk; Gunung Rembau; Gunung Datuk Rembau]
Height: 870m/2900ft
Location: Rembau, Negeri Sembilan.

The Trek
The best part of the trek is at the peak. There is no beirut, nor muddy ground, nor tall trees and bushy shrubs to block one's view. Formed by several gigantic granite boulders (that's really not the word coz they are much bigger than what the word suggests), the area around the peak is spacious. Whoever braves the few rungs of metal ladders and sits at the peak will be offered a 360-degree view. On a clear day, one can see the Seremban town and as far as the Straits of Malacca.
